"The work C27H29NO11 by Sylvia Henze bears the title of a drug used in chemotherapy. Upon entering the work, the viewer physically enters the world of chemotherapy: The long, narrow corridor is wallpapered on both sides with hundreds of photographs - literally, they were printed on wallpaper - showing the artist at various times during chemotherapy. Mirrors on either side of a narrow walkway multiply the images into infinity. Only the cashed door at the end of the corridor opens the way back into the present of the exhibition space, a change from illness and therapy back into everyday life, from the twilight of the light bulbs into brightness, from confinement into vastness."
